PACANZ (Performing Arts Competitions Association of NZ) is delighted to announce the names of the 2010 Mazda Foundation National Young Performer Awards to be held in Invercargill from 15 - 17 October.
The Ballet Adjudicator, Andrea Briody from Sydney has a vast performance and teaching background, both in Australia and overseas. Andrea has worked for Opera Australia and the Sydney Dance Company, with many years working in Europe.
Vocal Adjudicator, Anthea Moller needs no introduction to New Zealand teachers and audiences with a wealth of singing experience and over forty years of teaching experience, mainly within the university system in Australia and New Zealand. Anthea is presently based in Perth.
Max Olding from Queensland is our Pianoforte Adjudicator. Max Olding is one of Australia's most distinguished musicians having performed in the UK, US, NZ, Asia and the Pacific as a pianist, duo-pianist and/or conductor. Max has given many masterclasses and seminars both nationally and internationally.
Tap Dance Adjudicator, Carrie Green resides in Melbourne. Carrie draws on a vast experience of dance performance, choreography and teaching in theatre, cabaret and television. Carrie has taught at many schools of Dance, performed in Australian Opera works,Victoria State Opera and Young Talent Time, as well as extensive corporate and national television work.
