Introduction

Dates  National Young Performer Awards will take place on the weekend 15-17 October 2010 in Invercargill

Venues Invercargill's Civic Theatre in Tay Street and CentreStage in Esk Street

Timetable Registration  for all competitors will take place 7.00pm - 8.00 Friday 15th October  at the Civic Theatre in Tay Street, Invercargill  Final Award Concert 7.30pm  Sunday 17th Civic Theatre Invercargill  · Please note that as a nominee you will be expected to attend the Final Award Concert.  · All nominees will be presented with their participation certificate on the main stage.  Dress for the Final Award Concert is formal.  Prize Package In total prizes exceed $40,000 including promising and potential prizes, medals and sashses. For each of the four art forms (Ballet, Vocal, Pianoforte and Tap)  Winner     $5,000       ($5,000 Tuition Grant) 2nd Place  $3,000        ($3,000 Tuition Grant)  3rd Place  $1,500        ($1,500 Tuition Grant)  Nominee Entitlements Each nominee and direct entry nominee  will receive: · 1 entry pass giving you access to all venues for all preliminary sessions, semi finals and the adjudicator review. · 1 complimentary competitors cass to the Final Award Concert Sunday 17th October (For your use only)  Requirements  Nomination If you have received a nomination to the National Young Performer Awards you are required to pay an entry fee of $50.  (This in addition to the $50 paid as entry fee by your nominating society)  Direct Entry Nomination If you have received a Direct Entry Nomination (Vocal and Pianoforte only)  to the National Young Performer Awards you are required to pay an entry fee of $100. To Confirm Your Nomination You are required to return the official entry form (sent to all nominees following official notification of nomination) accompanied by the entry fee, titles of your items and in the case of ballet and tap competitiors the performance copies of your dance music (on CD only). You need to send the title of the music and artist for APRA purposes Entries close: 10 June 2010 for those competitors nominated by 31 May 2010 10 August 2010 for those competitors nominated by 31 July 2010 10 September 2010 for those competitiors nominated before 31 August 2010 31 September 2010 For all competitors nominated in September competitions, you need your photograph, CD (for ballet and tap), money and short biography ready for the nominating society to send to PACANZ at the end of their competition.
